The Parts Work Unconference is approaching and happening on Saturday, Sept 30th. There are still some tickets left. You can find out more about the event and grab a free ticket right here. We would LOVE to see you!
Meanwhile, are really excited to announce some more of the pre-proposed sessions1 . Check them out!
IFS & Strengths-based Coaching with Saskia
How can we work with Strengths as parts and how can coaches use a strengths test outcome to explore how firefighters or managers use Strengths in overdrive and can reconnected to working with the system in service of Self again.
IFS and Grief with Anja
There are many ways we can respond to a loss. There are also many messages around grief: what we should do or not, what we should feel or not. It can be confusing and overwhelming. IFS helps to notice our feelings, thoughts, images, sensations, etc. that could come up, to acknowledge those parts. They have their own way to help us. How? Let's pay attention to what our parts are willing to show us.
Nondual IFS - Self as a wave with Laura
In this session you will be guided along a spontaneous meditation to observe the waves of parts, thoughts and emotions with openness and compassion. Seeing each passing sensation as a temporary arising in the vast ocean of awareness that is your Self. Allowing all to unfold gently, without judgment or attachment. Seeing your Self as the ocean.
Stoicism and IFS with Tim
Stoicism is an ancient philosophy focused on obtaining a happiness that can't be taken from us regardless of our circumstances. Cognitive Behavioral Therapy is based on a lot of the Stoic principles. In this session we'll examine the overlap between Stoicism and IFS, especially relative to the Inner Daimon/Self and how our parts affect what judgements we make about the reality we experience.
IFS and Hindu Philosophy with Sidharth
The IFS modality has multiple overlaps with Hindu philosophy. Here we will deep dive into what it means to be enlightened (or awakened) and how IFS can facilitate that process. We will also explore where you can go post-Self embodiment including practices ranging from non-dual Advaita and Shaiva Tantra
If YOU want to propose a session and have us support you in pre-promoting it in the upcoming weeks, you can do it here. As usual: it is not required, most of the sessions emerge during the event itself. It helps up letting people know a bit what to expect.
With warmth and excitement,
